Most content creation applications currently in use are conventional PC applications with visualisation on a 2D screen and indirect interaction, e.g. through mouse and keyboard. Augmented Reality (AR) is a medium that can provide actual 3D visualisation and more hands-on interaction for these applications, due to its technology adding virtual elements to a real-world environment. We explored how AR can be used for story authoring, a specific type of content creation, and investigated how both types of existing AR interfaces, tangible and touch-less, can be combined in a useful way in that context [1]. The Story ARtist application was developed to evaluate the designed interactions and AR visualisation for story authoring. It features a tabletop environment to dynamically visualise the story authoring elements, augmented by the 3D space that AR provides. Story authoring is kept simple, with a linear plot point structure focused on core story elements like actions, characters and objects.

When people need to stay quarantined at home for long periodsof time, loneliness, lack of exercise and boredom tend to affectthem more frequently and strongly. Games combining physicalexercise, challenging gameplay, and social cooperation can combatthese negative phenomena. This paper describes one such game. InWrath of Osiris, actual player movement in the real world is used asan input method, in order to get some exercise. The players needto work together, to promote feelings of camaraderie and teamspirit. Lastly, the issue of boredom is tackled by an increasinglychallenging game setting. The year 2020 started with a corona-virus outbreak. As a result, many people are no longer allowed to leave their home, which leads to a heavy reduction in social contact. At the same time, everyone wants entertainment at home so many people are playing games. Dismental is a social game explicitly designed and developed for this context. The game aims at creating a fun experience and con- viviality by requiring players to communicate and work together to complete a number of mini games to defuse a bomb (see Figure 1). Dismental consists of two types of mini-games, for 2 up to 8 players: the first type involves two active players, and requires skillful communication, coordination and keeping your head cool; the second type involves all players and is aimed at fast reactions and chaotic situations. Completing a series of mini-games within a set time limit will successfully defuse the bomb. All players use a variety of gestures captured by their webcam to interact with the mini-games.
