Abstract

Global warming is one of the most significant concerns for human beings today in the 21st century. Under this circumstance, countries and regions around the world are taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. China, as the world's largest emitter, plays an important role in reducing carbon emissions worldwide. This paper aims to find the changes in China's carbon emissions from 2000-2014 and find the main driving forces for it which can provide suggestions for China's further carbon reduction strategies.
