Abstract
This chapter addresses the positioning of business services from three different perspectives. First, we describe the increasing demand and rise of business services and corresponding delivery modes. Second, we address the growth and position of global business services and their multi-nature. Next, we address GBS implementation challenges specifically. Fourth, we describe the importance of digitalisation as a means to overcome global business services implementation challenges. Finally, we summarise this chapter by addressing the key findings on business services.
