Abstract

Groundwater is typically a safe source of drinking water due to its stable and good microbial quality. However, the presence of geogenic arsenic (As) in groundwater, poses a serious health concern, impacting hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Prolonged groundwater consumption with elevated As levels can lead to chronic diseases, including cancer.
