Abstract
Among the several examples of Italian architectures from the 50-60’s, the most paradigmatic one is the Marchiondi Institute (1957) by Vittoriano Viganò, for its orthodox character with respect to the dominant issue of those times: the dichotomy between continuity and innovation.
